ℹ️ Telegram also outlined in its application for the .gram top-level domain how the domain extension could work:

- Premium subscribers could obtain a username.gram domain through a separate process.
- Domains for channels, groups, and bots could be auctioned, similar to how Fragment works today.
- Domains could redirect to a Telegram profile or any other URL.
- Registration would be open to everyone, not just Telegram users.
- These are only proposed plans, and Telegram is not obligated to implement them exactly as described.
