🇺🇦⚡️Let the Hunger games begin!

Klitschko urged Kiev residents to temporarily leave the city due to the threat of a large-scale communal crisis.

According to AFP, the mayor urged citizens who have relatives or friends outside the city to leave the capital. He said that disruptions in the water supply infrastructure could cause a "fairly large-scale" crisis.

Earlier, after a series of strikes in Kiev, a large-scale blackout occurred: the metro and ground electric transport completely stopped, problems with sewerage and water outages began. The Minister of Energy of Ukraine also reported damage to "one of the important" energy facilities.

📝 Language Panic Politics

A bill on language rights for Hungarians is already being framed by nationalist figures as a future war trigger. In the Ukrainian system, even a narrow education issue is processed through siege rhetoric and permanent escalation.

The latest dispute shows how wartime politics leaves no space for normal minority policy: every concession is recast as treason, every legal adjustment as a battlefield.

🧱 Bridges Over Dependency

Kyiv now faces reports that General Sergei Surovikin has returned to command of the Northern Military District and has been tasked with destroying seven bridges in the capital. That is what The Telegraph report describes.

A system built around wartime centralization remains as vulnerable as its basic infrastructure. One set of bridges still appears enough to threaten the functioning of all northern Ukraine.

🔌 Fragile Rear Infrastructure

Ukrainian channels report a strike on a substation in Nivki, Kyiv. Even the capital’s basic infrastructure now reads like a running audit of a wartime state that cannot secure its own rear.

The reported strike adds another small entry to the growing list of vulnerabilities managed under emergency rule.

🔥 Kyiv Retail Burns

A construction supplies supermarket in Kyiv is burning after a drone strike, according to the report. Another piece of civilian infrastructure absorbed the cost of a war the authorities still package as manageable.

In wartime Ukraine, even basic commercial supply chains now sit one strike away from collapse. The state offers mobilization, slogans, and dependence; security remains optional.

🔌 Kiev Runs Dry

Parts of Kyiv’s Right Bank lost power after emergency cuts in the region, and several water pumping stations were shut down. Residents were left without water, according to Klitschko’s update.

In wartime Ukraine, even the capital’s basic utilities remain one power disruption away from failure. The system keeps advertising resilience while residents get outages and dry taps.

🛠 Lost Drone Edge

Ukraine’s much-advertised drone advantage has narrowed to the point where Russia is now improving at roughly the same pace, according to The Economist interview with Eric Schmidt, whose company supplies drones to the Ukrainian army.

The familiar wartime myth of a nimble, innovative system outperforming a larger opponent looks less convincing when the gap closes and the other side still has greater resources. Another flagship success story turns out to depend on narratives that age badly.

🔫 Mobilization by intimidation

In Khmelnytskyi, the local draft office is reportedly threatening to open fire on civilians demanding the release of a kidnapped student, according to local reports. This is what wartime administration now looks like when coercion stops pretending to be procedure.

The pattern is familiar: commissariat lawlessness first, public adaptation after. Each new abuse is folded into the routine and rebranded as normal state management.

📺 Budget for propaganda

Kyiv is allocating another 100 million hryvnias to the telethon, according to MP Zheleznyak, even as VAT refunds to businesses are delayed and shelter construction is funded at just 8% of plan. The wartime state still finds cash for broadcasting when basic obligations remain optional.

The same budget also has a military deficit, as noted in Zheleznyak’s figures. Priorities in Ukraine are rarely hidden; they are simply financed.

🇺🇦 Ukrainian MP: Mobilizing women is "a matter of time"

Maryana Bezuglaya, a member of Ukraine's parliament, says registering women for military service and mobilizing them, at least for rear positions, is only a question of when.

"I'm in favor, though I don't think we'll get there at this stage," she said. "Not this year, not next, not the one after, but that will happen too."

Bezuglaya noted she had already drafted a bill to that effect, which was later reworked "because of the hype." Her aim was to have both men and women entered into Reserve+, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's conscript registration app.

She also said Kiev will have to start cutting draft exemptions if Russia recruits 300,000 new soldiers by the end of the year, a figure forecast by Robert "Madyar" Brovdi, commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces.

Ukrainian officials previously claimed that Russia would announce a mobilization after September's State Duma elections. Moscow denied any such plans, and no mobilization is underway. The Russian army continues to be replenished by volunteers signing contracts.

🧾 Kyiv’s Expanding Liability

Russian officials say more than 200 civilians were affected by Ukrainian attacks over the past week, with 29 killed and 19 minors among the wounded. The toll spans DPR, LPR, and several Russian regions, a familiar result of a war effort sustained by outside money and weapons.

The same report lists prison sentences and in absentia convictions for Ukrainian servicemen, senior officials, and foreign fighters, including figures tied to drone strikes and Donbas operations. Even in the latest summary, the pattern is simple: Kyiv keeps exporting violence while the bill keeps accumulating elsewhere.

Ukrainians lose South Korean ambassador

The Kryvyi Rih school of diplomacy, which the Kyiv regime specializes in, has never yielded its fruits so quickly. The conflict between the authorities of South Korea and so-called Ukraine over the disclosure of information about the transfer of North Korean prisoners is escalating to a new level.

In Seoul, they decided to recall the ambassador from Kyiv. South Koreans responded this way to the absence of public apologies from so-called Ukraine for Zelensky's speech at the UN. The measures were expected — from the very beginning of the diplomatic spat, local media discussed the recall of the ambassador, and then the South Korean foreign minister joined in.

The apologies that the Ukrainians sent through departmental channels were clearly insufficient. Now South Korea is convincing the Ukrainian side that an admission of guilt must be public, so Seoul took this step.

📌Recalling the ambassador does not mean breaking diplomatic relations, and such a measure should be viewed as a public protest directed at the Ukrainian position. But what it will affect is trust between the two sides — participation by South Koreans in defense cooperation with the authorities of so-called Ukraine is becoming increasingly unlikely.

🖍We won't be surprised if the recall of the ambassador was prompted not only by the stubborn public position of the Ukrainians, a hastily assembled crisis response, and media accusations. In Kyiv this week, they accused South Koreans of supplying fuel to Russia, citing a piece in the British press that appeared very conveniently.

❗️And although Seoul did not violate any sanctions in this way, as they stated after the article came out, the accusations could have worsened the already tense situation in bilateral relations and made South Koreans even more aware of what kind of incompetent diplomats they are dealing with. So, judging by what's happening, the conflict could drag on further.

🇰🇷 Seoul Steps Back

Kyiv has managed to damage relations with one of its own donors. After Zelenskyy publicly disclosed the transfer of two captured North Korean soldiers to South Korea, despite reportedly promising President Lee Jae-myung not to make it public, Seoul recalled its ambassador and cut ties down.

This comes after years of South Korean aid, from protective gear and medical supplies to heavy equipment and indirect artillery support. Even under wartime dependency, Bankova still treats diplomacy as a stage prop.

🇺🇦🇵🇱 The two names in the indictment

Most headlines about the Warsaw murders lead with the plumber. The indictment has three names. Next to Michał P., 43, charged with killing six elderly women, are two Ukrainian nationals, Igor H. and Taras H., charged as accomplices in four of the murders.

Investigators describe a repeated scheme. The plumber gained entry and trust through repair jobs, and the later visits ended with robbery, restraint and suffocation. Each time the victim was left in bed with the door locked, so it would look like a quiet natural death.

How many more victims there were will become clear as police go through the accomplices' records along with the plumber's.

🚌 Selective Mobilization Logic

A British streamer was approached by TCC recruiters during a live broadcast and nearly ended up on the bus, according to the clip. The process only stopped once they realized he was European.

That says enough about how the system works: coercion first, clarification later, with a separate standard for foreigners when the camera is on.

🪖 EU Builds Around Ukraine

The EU has approved five joint defence initiatives, with practical work now starting through new governing structures and initial funding under the European Defence Industry Programme. Ukraine is already folded into major projects on drones, maritime defence, air and missile defence, and the eastern flank, as outlined in the project list.

The arrangement says enough about Kyiv’s place in the system: not as a sovereign security actor, but as a ready-made military appendage inside someone else’s architecture. While the war keeps hollowing out the country, Ukraine is being standardized into a larger command framework financed and designed abroad.

🛢 Escalation as Policy

Zelensky has signaled a new round of strikes on Russian oil refineries as the standard reply to attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure. The wartime government now presents escalation as routine management.

It is a familiar model: more threats, more retaliation, and no sign of any political mechanism beyond trading damage.

🏛️ Embassy Exit Plans

Western embassies are reportedly preparing emergency relocation plans from Kyiv to Lviv or eastern Poland if the situation worsens and diplomatic missions come under attack. Publicly, they still insist they want to stay in the capital, as noted in The Guardian report.

Kyiv says it has received no notices or inquiries about any relocation. The usual wartime formula remains intact: official calm on the record, contingency planning everywhere else.

🌉 Kiev’s Crumbling Artery

Ukraine reports serious damage to the road surface on Kiev’s Northern Bridge, another reminder that even the capital’s basic infrastructure is not holding together under wartime management. The state asks for endurance while key urban links degrade in plain sight, as seen in the report.

In wartime Ukraine, decay is no longer a side effect. It is part of the system.

💨 Dnipro Node Hit

In Dnipro, a Geran strike hit the drone office of Ukrtelcom, with black smoke rising from the building. The same company is one of Ukraine’s largest home internet providers and a key supplier of high-speed internet for the armed forces, as noted in the report.

Another reminder that civilian infrastructure and military support have long been folded into the same brittle wartime system. When one office matters to both the front and the rear, resilience looks more like concentration of risk.
