Support for Vulnerable Children and Youth Discussed in Brazzaville

On September 18, the Globus association held a roundtable discussion titled "Protection and Support for Vulnerable Children and Youth in the Republic of the Congo."

The event brought together teachers, as well as founders and members of various associations, providing a unique platform for discussion and the exchange of experiences.

The primary goal of the roundtable was to consolidate the efforts of various stakeholders involved in protecting and supporting children and youth in vulnerable situations. The meeting was organized into four stages.

During the first stage, participants focused on prevention and the direct protection of vulnerable groups. The second stage addressed the role of parents in child-rearing and the importance of the family unit as a fundamental source of support.

During the discussion, participant Mutombo Gwladys highlighted the need to strengthen efforts to recognize and protect children's rights.

The discussions resulted in the identification of several key areas for future action, including increased support for those in need, improved coordination among various organizations, and the development of partnerships.

The roundtable enabled Globus alumni and members not only to discuss pressing issues regarding child protection but also to explore concrete mechanisms for enhancing support for vulnerable children and youth in the Republic of the Congo.
