⛴🏳️ US ships gone from Hormuz as Iranian commander mocks Trump-Hegseth bravado
For the first time, no US naval vessels are present in the Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz or Gulf of Oman — or even the northern Indian Ocean, senior IRGC commander Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi said, IRNA reported.
The statement offers a stark counterpoint to recent claims by Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth that the US “controls” and “dominates” the Strait of Hormuz.
According to Fadavi, US vessels are now absent even from the northern Indian Ocean.
