Many people are seriously underestimating 🎁. And they shouldn’t — new skins could be released for them in the form of famous landmarks from different countries. It could become a kind of NFT souvenir collection: the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, and other iconic places. The collectible potential is huge.

And this is no longer just speculation — designers have already leaked two versions of the upcoming skins. The work on them is already in progress. 🎁

Now let’s look at the numbers. We are comparing unupgraded gifts with the closest supply at the moment when the skins are released:

🎁 (supply 100K): purchase price — $15 (1000⭐️) → secondary market — ~$28 average selling price on GATES. Growth ×1.9.

🎁 (supply 200K): purchase price — $7.5 (500⭐️) → secondary market — ~$18 average selling price on GATES. Growth ×2.4.

🎁 (supply 150K): purchase price — $7.5 (500⭐️) → current price — ~$9. Currently only ×1.2.

Simply put, both previous collections grew by around 2× from their purchase price. Castles are still trading close to the original price, which means the main growth may still be ahead.

My take: the 3.8–4.2 💎 range at the current exchange rate looks like a good entry point.

I expect unupgraded Castles to reach 8–10 💎. This would be the same ×2 growth that the market has already shown twice with Books and Briefcases.

🔥 We'd like to share our thoughts on the situation that has been discussed all week regarding marketplace trading fees.

All the conspiracy theories about gateways, kickbacks to Telegram, and other mechanisms that were supposedly meant to ensure safer trading and attract more users to the market have fallen apart. In reality, there were many ways this could have been implemented. For example, Telegram could have introduced a 100 ⭐️ fee for transferring an off-chain gift, encouraging users to move their gifts on-chain, into a decentralized network where smart contracts can handle trading fees, royalties, and much more.

As things stand today, it's difficult to call an off-chain gift an NFT. It's Telegram's property that you're simply allowed to hold. If they decide to take it back, they can, and there is little anyone can do about it—unlike with a real NFT. As for supporting smaller projects within the ❤️ ecosystem, there's hardly anything left to say. Some of the theories revolved around that as well, but in the end nothing changed, and the "antitrust committee" once again found no issues and quietly moved on.

In the end, all that's left are emigrants in the form of vibe coders—and nothing more 🎁

Perhaps we're too small a project to have much influence in this ecosystem, but we'd still like to address Mr. Freeman, a.k.a. @tonnel.
