We invite you to join hackspace residency!

Residents are active members of the hackspace, making decisions together, developing the space and supporting it financially. Collective decisions are not easy, so we try to follow democracy patterns: https://wiki.hackerspaces.org/The_Democracy_Pattern. Meetings are held every Tuesday (classic). Also, residents have free access to the space.

The minimum residence fee is $80 per month, but $100 or more is welcomed.
Now we have 10 residents, looking for new candidates. It would be an advantage if you live in Georgia or plan a long-term stay here.

If you're interested please PM @cmdKid, @sanatoriy_golubye_bolota or any other resident with some info about yourself, your message will be forwarded to the internal hackspace chat.

Curcuit bending meeting

Let's meet and circuit bend together!

It's NOT a lecture or master-class, there will be NO official guidance,
but will be folks, who got some experience or theory.

Take with you:
- something you want to bend (child toys, cheap pianos, dolls, etc)
- batteries this device run on or power supply
- potentiometers of different values, ON-ON, ON-OFF buttons, LEDs and resistors
- thin wires (different color will be the best)
- 3.5 or 6.3 female jack
- your own soldering iron, tin and multimeter will speed up the process

nixpkgs Zero Hydra Failures Hackathon

A gathering of hackers who are interested in the Nix package manager, NixOS declarative Linux distribution, and the nixpkgs repository. We will try to fix as many broken packages as possible in time for the 22.11 nixpkgs release, chat about package management, reproducibility, declarativity and other related topics, and have some fun. You do not need any specific knowledge in order to participate, as we will explain the basics during the hackathon.

We'll gather in hackspace to show you some rare, hype and DIY synths
to let you twist the knobs, try some sound design on the fly
and discuss advances of this devices with it's owners.

We found more than 20 synths for you
and you will definitely find at least one you always wanted to try.

We strongly recommend you to take your own wired headphones
with 3.5 stereo jack and 6.3 jack adapter for avoid suffering in line.
