— One can clearly see who these terrorists are, which side they belong to, and which ideology they follow. Yet whenever we raise this issue, the first accusation is that we are being sectarian. But this is not about creating a Shia-Sunni divide. It is about recognizing the forces, ideologies, and projects that threaten Muslims as a whole. Beyond the Shia-Sunni divide, our Sunni brothers are requested to take part in raising awareness and to carefully examine who is benefiting from these divisions, who is promoting takfiri narratives, and how such narratives can serve wider Zionist and foreign strategic interests. The common people must not be pushed into fighting one another while those exploiting sectarian divisions remain protected or operate from behind the scenes. Shia and Sunni Muslims may have differences in theology and jurisprudence, but those differences should not prevent communities from identifying extremist violence, rejecting takfir, and protecting their societies from being manipulated by actors seeking to turn Muslims against one another. Awareness is therefore essential, because the real danger is not simply the existence of differences between communities, but the deliberate exploitation of those differences to create conflict, weaken societies, and divert attention from the broader political and strategic realities of the region.
