🇾🇪 | Ansar Allah reportedly launches major cross-border operation against Saudi and Sudanese forces:

Intelligence sources in Sanaa told Al-Akhbar that Ansar Allah carried out another cross-border operation at dawn yesterday in the Al-Malahit area, targeting a training camp belonging to the First Brigade of the Sixth Emergency Division in the Al-Tawal area, west of Jizan, as well as gatherings of the Second Brigade of the same division. The operation also reportedly targeted Sudanese forces as they were preparing to launch an attack on the Midi axis, north of Hodeidah.

According to the sources, the operation resulted in the killing of between 80 and 100 personnel and the wounding of dozens more, including Saudi and Sudanese forces.

The report describes this as the first operation of its kind since Ansar Allah launched around 40 attacks on Saudi military positions and camps across various southern border fronts in mid-2021. It says the operation signals Sanaa’s readiness for a broader confrontation along the Saudi-Yemen border and a willingness to move the battlefield deeper into Saudi territory.

In the same report, a military source told Al-Akhbar that continued Saudi escalation in northern Yemen would reignite the fronts in Jizan and Najran, adding that Ansar Allah maintains advanced positions on the outskirts of Najran city.
