✍ Why Every Blockchain Needs a Constitution


📝 One cannot design a rigid, unyielding structure and expect it to serve everyone’s interests indefinitely. Instead, we require something analogous to a “constitution” for the system: a framework establishing the rules of the game that enables various stakeholders to express their preferences, negotiate trade-offs, and reach consensus and mutual understanding.

In designing such a system, insights from political economy, specifically Constitutional Political Economy, can be applied.
