This is an extremely detailed history written by Professor Carroll Quigkey, an insider who knew many of the members of ultra powerful families and trusted by them. As I understand it, he was commissioned to write this history of world events from 1890 - 1960, being an already published author and academic. However, the book he eventually produced, having had access to confidential archive sources, must have displeased his sponsors or others in their circle. The first impressions (1966 or thereabouts) were purchased almost completely and destroyed, so there are relatively few authentic copies. Furthermore, the publishers were prevailed upon to destroy the plates while not telling the author. For years, the author collected the details of people who’d contacted him requesting a copy when his book was reprinted. Paradoxically, the publishers repeatedly told him that they would run a reprint once they had sufficient interest, which they claimed they weren’t getting. In reality, they destroyed those letters of enquiry. It took many years before the penny dropped with the author.

Whether this version from the internet archive is complete and unmodified, I’ve no idea, but it’s hard to believe that it is.

This is one of those books which I feel I ought to have attempted to read. I confess I’ve struggled with anything really long since 2020. I can’t settle to the task of reading a long, detailed book, well aware of the time commitment involved if I did. I’ve found that while flying I enjoy the distraction of reading. I read David Rogers Webb’s “The Great Taking” in this way. Also, “The Committee of 300” by John Coleman, though I’m not sure how that could possibly be other than a psyop. Why else would he be permitted to published such a damning text and travel widely, lecturing on it?

Is Carroll Quigkey’s “Tragedy and Hope” as it is purported to be? Perhaps, because there’s evidence of considerable effort to suppress it.

Anyway, here it is for anyone who is interested to know more about how important historical events and turning points were brought about by those I call The Perpetrators.
