The nature of the odd exchange below a GeoffBuysCars video can get esoteric. I don’t think Orwell was a time traveler. It’s interesting though that a critical mass of people, aware of the predictive power of books written half to one century before the events of the present day had to have obtained their insights from somewhere. I get that you cannot read those “great works of SciFi” without being impressed at the prescience of so many 20th century writers.
As in my post, there’s an easier and more plausible explanation. Unfortunately, it comes freighted with much that the casual observer simply can’t accept. Not until they’ve burrowed through multiple, high consonant lines of activity, including banking, warfare, evolutionary theory and pandemic preparedness. By then, the whole isn’t really interpretable in any other way than outlined, sadly.

But they have not yet succeeded in their lunatic quest. Let’s resolve to continue to make it unlikely.
