💗 Career Tip: Make the first few seconds of your talent profile useful.

A hiring team looking through profiles shouldn’t have to read three paragraphs before understanding what you actually do.

Compare:

⛔️ “Web3 enthusiast passionate about blockchain and innovation.”

With something like:

✔️ “Backend engineer working on payments, ledgers and reconciliation.”

Or:

✔️ “Growth & partnerships professional focused on exchanges, crypto cards and stablecoin payments.”

The second version immediately gives someone something to place you around.

When you update your profile, check the first things a hiring team can see:

• What kind of work do you do?
• What are you particularly good at?
• Which skills or domains should someone associate with you?
• What type of opportunity are you looking for?

You can add personality and detail afterwards.

First, make it easy to understand where you fit.

And if you have a CryptoJobsList Talent Profile, this is a good excuse to give it a quick update!
