EN:
The question arises as to whether Donald Trump and Elon Musk will cease their actions after reforms in the United States government, which aim to eliminate the “Deep State” from the United States. Subsequently, they may attempt to extend their efforts and reform international public policy institutions.
This is a captivating yet perilous development.
Currently, three of the Permanent Five members (P5) of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) could be considered “revanchist powers,” or countries that are dissatisfied with the current state of affairs at the international level:
⁃ Russia
⁃ China
⁃ United States (under the Trump Administration)
Neither Russia nor China represents the governments that established the post-World War II world order. The Communist Party government of the Soviet Union emerged victorious in World War II, and the Chiang Kai-shek government in China was a component of the Allied victory. The Russian Federation assumed the seat of the Soviet Union in 1991, and the Chinese Communist Party replaced the Democratic China at the table in 1971, when they were essentially exiled to Taiwan. In the interest of maintaining international order, the other P5 members of the UNSC (Americans, Englishmen, and French) concurred with these changes.
Russia and China, both not represented by the “original” governments, have been expressing their grievances with the existing international order since at least 2007. However, they have not been able to disrupt the system. The situation could change if the Donald Trump Administration joins them. In that case, three out of five P5 UNSC members would be advocating for the dismantling of the existing international order.
Therefore, the pertinent question remains: whether Donald Trump and Elon Musk will cease their actions after reforms in the United States government or extend their efforts beyond the United States borders?
