فضا زمان محکوم به فناست. اساساً چیزی به نام فضازمان در توصیف زیربنایی قوانین فیزیک وجود ندارد. این بسیار حیرت آور است، زیرا آنچه قرار است فیزیک در موردش صحبت کند، توصیف چیزهایی است که در مکان و زمان رخ می دهند. بنابراین اگر فضازمان وجود نداشته باشد، مشخص نیست که فیزیک در مورد چیست.
