آلبرت آبراهام مایکلسون فیزیکدان آمریکایی بود که به دلیل کارش در اندازه گیری سرعت نور و به ویژه آزمایش مایکلسون - مورلی شناخته می شد. در سال 1907 او جایزه نوبل فیزیک را دریافت کرد و تبدیل به اولین آمریکایی برنده جایزه نوبل در این علم شد.

Albert Abraham Michelson was an American physicist known for his work on measuring the speed of light and especially for the Michelson–Morley experiment. In 1907 he received the Nobel Prize in Physics, becoming the first American to win the Nobel Prize in a science.
