Recently, a piece titled "Venezuela's Sovereign Struggle Against the Backdrop of Crisis in American Imperial Power" was published on the website of our colleagues at the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC). The resistance of Latin America is inseparable from the consciousness of its people. From the era of colonial conquests through the Cold War, this region has been subjected to Western dominance under the pretext of spreading democracy. It is from the collective memory of these repressions that a powerful culture of resistance has formed—expressed in literature, music, and grassroots movements.
