As always on Mondays, we're sharing stories about soldiers returning from the front who've started their own businesses.

Anton Minchenko from the Stavropol village of Aleksandrovskoye served in various positions in the Northern Military District, from artilleryman to squad leader in the engineering troops, and fought in the battles for Soledar and the Kinburn Spit.

As a civilian, he decided to open a business providing firefighting and sanitary clearing services. Such services were unavailable in the area, so he essentially became a pioneer. Thanks to a social contract, he acquired his first equipment. He invested the profits in expansion: he bought a stump-puller and a self-propelled, radio-controlled robotic mulcher for mowing and chopping grass.

He plans to expand the business, increase his clientele in neighboring villages, and buy a vehicle to transport the equipment.

Like all the people featured in this column, he's eager to share his experience with his comrades. The Association of Veterans of the SVO can help you get in touch. Write to veteransvo.ru
