🏆 CAU Ranks No. 1 for Research Publication Performance in the Medicine Category

Central Asian University has secured 1st place in the Medicine category of Uzbekistan’s national ranking of research publication activity and international citation impact, based on Scopus data for 2025.
According to the analytical review by the National Quality Assurance Agency for Education, CAU achieved the highest score of 5.00 points, with an index of 15.22, among the 9 universities assessed in the category.

207 research publications indexed in Scopus
73 publications in Q1 journals — the highest result in the category
29 publications in the Top 10% by citation impact
3 publications in the Top 1% by citation impact — the highest result among medical universities

These results reflect CAU’s research performance not only in publication volume, but also in journal quality, citation impact, and research productivity relative to faculty size.
