In 2019, Rustam Anvarov joined Central Asian University as part of its very first student cohort, choosing CAU to pursue medicine in English.
After graduating from CAU Medical School, Rustam’s career took a different direction from traditional clinical practice. Today, he works as a Medical Supply Specialist in CAU’s Procurement Department, where he researches medical equipment, evaluates suppliers, and helps identify the best solutions for the university.
The skills he developed at CAU — including critical thinking, prioritisation, teamwork, and attention to detail — continue to support him in his professional role.
