stack for intern/placements or stick to low level?

Hi,

In 3rd sem, did competitive programming in c++ in 1st year (pupil on cf, \~500 solved) + basic linux.

Want an intern to start earning, but off-campus openings for C++ / low-level / cybersec seem dead in India. Everything is python, node, or go.

I like systems programming, but I need realistic job prospects. Need advice:

1. Should I pivot to python/go backend for internships and placements?

2. Is doing a mix (C++ DSA + python backend + linux/ cloud) a good idea or too messy?

3. Do non-tier-1 resumes even get shortlisted off-campus for low-level roles, or is web/backend my best bet?

tier 2.5 is the cherry on top
