Rtu backlog

I got a backlog in MEFA in my 4th semester. I will give the re-exam in the 6th semester, but the result will probably come at the end of the 7th semester.

So, I'm worried that I might miss the opportunity to participate in placement drives because I'll still have an active backlog when companies visit our college in the 7th semester.

Is there anyone from an RTU-affiliated college who has faced a similar situation? Will I be able to sit for placement drives, or will companies reject me because of my active backlog?
