The Strong Cities Network was launched in 2015 by the Obama administration, the U.S. Department of State,
Think Tank Institute for Strategic Dialogue, & the
United Nations to combat hate, polarization, & violent extremism at the *local level yet it’s an INTERNATIONAL ENTITY. It aims to empower city governments to collaborate INTERNATIONALLY & share best practices. AKA covertly weaponizing the universal demand from working class people around the world for policing to be returned to the local level.
The Strong Cities Network is an international initiative that connects cities from around the world to collaborate on building social cohesion and resilience against violent extremism. It includes over 270 cities globally, facilitating the exchange of best practices & strategies. Yet since its introduction, crime has only increased, a criminal police state in every country has gotten worse, & no meaningful arrests for human, child, organ, weapons trafficking have occurred, & acts of terror have radically increased. No arrests for COVID or corporate crimes have happened.
The official claim of Global Cities Networks is that it continues to expand its reach and influence in addressing local drivers of global threats. Local drivers of global threats? Sounds like threats to globalism/centralized government to me.
The SCN is led by the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, with Eric Rosand serving as the executive director. The network aims to empower cities to take proactive measures against extremism, disinformation & hate while ensuring the protection of civil rights. Hmm… who’s civil rights? What civil rights is it protecting specifically?
The Strong Cities Network emphasizes the importance of local governance & community engagement. It aims to empower mayors and local officials to foster
social cohesion and address local issues.
So despite the fact that this was started under Obama, its Membership includes major cities from countries we are told are our mortal enemies, threats to LGBTQ rights, threats to western national security, etc. How does that make sense?
Moscow is part of the Strong Cities Network, and is a Regional Hub. Other cities in Russia (notably the LARGEST cities) who are members are: Kazan, Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Nizhniy Novgorod.
CHINA: China’s largest cities Chongqing, Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou are ALL members.
Soros’ philanthropic organization, the Open Society Foundations and the Strong Cities Network have nearly identical missions, suggesting collaboration. Indeed they ARE partnered, but they bury that fact! The Open Society Foundations have provided funding to the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) (one of Global Cities Networks founders) as part of their efforts to support organizations that promote democratic governance and social change.
The Wellcome Trust is a charitable foundation based in London, established in 1936 to fund health research and improve human & animal health. It is one of the largest providers of non-governmental funding for scientific research globally, with a financial endowment of £37.6 billion as of 2025. The Wellcome Trust & the Open Society Foundations have collaborated with the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) on various initiatives, particularly in areas related to public health and combating misinformation. These partnerships often focus on addressing issues like extremism & disinformation in society.
Under Obama The 2016 Advancing Diversity in Law Enforcement initiative was a report and set of resources produced by the Department of Justice (DOJ) & the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) to identify barriers and highlight promising practices for increasing diversity in local police agencies. After this report was issued, Police recruitment standards in many regions/states changed their written tests, physical tests & background checks.
