The Psychology of Exhaustion: Exhaustion as a mechanism of power
•Confusion has become the most effective method of control. A population unable to distinguish between true and false, real and fake, cannot act with coherence.
•Strategic distraction has replaced coherent narrative. Outrage cycles, identity wars, algorithmic rabbit holes, and performative discourse keep the public locked in micro-conflicts.
•Over time, this has produced not just confusion, but exhaustion. Information overload has become a weapon. Faced with endless contradiction, peolple have retreated into cynicism, apathy, or hyper-fragmented belief systems.
•The modern citizen does not merely distrust the news. They distrust the news. They distrust their own ability to know. In this terrain, nothing is believable, and therefore nothing can be collectively challenged. – Source
