Live(r) π¦
Acquiring liver:
π° You want liver from organic/grass-fed cows.
Itβs important because you donβt want to be eating organs of a diseased cow.
π° Ideally you get your organic liver from a local butcher.
If thereβs no butcher near you then look on the internet.
There should be plenty of farmers selling organic/grass fed meats.
π° 200-500 grams a week should suffice to get the optimal amount of nutrients from liver.
Try it out for 1 year and see how your energy levels improve.
Preparing:
π° Bake 5-10 mins (I prefer light pinkish on the inside) should keep the nutrients preserved
π° If you dislike the taste you can try pΓ’tΓ© or make your own pΓ’tΓ© but in my experience nothing beats fresh liver.
Nutrients:
π° The liver does not βfilterβ or store toxins. It stores nutrients to get rid of toxins elsewhere in the body.
π° Itβs one of the most nutrient dense foods out there.
See picture for nutrients.
Itβs fun to compare an apple to liver.
