There is little difference in the nutrient and fatty acid profile in grain fed vs. grass fed beef.
This is not the case for:
- poultry
- pork
- fish (farmed fish vs wild).
You want these to be as natural as possible.
(Organic, soy and grain free, wild caught etc.)
PUFA (seed oils) can build up tremendously in these animals when theyβre fed high PUFA foods.
Which you then accumulate when you consume them.
On average, PUFA deposited in your tissues have a half life of 680 days. (R)
Your body is basically trying to get rid of highly oxidative sneed oil love handles for close to 2 years.
There are ways to deplete PUFA in your tissue faster.
But prevention by simply consuming minimal amounts of PUFA is of course less stressful.

π²πππ¨ππ ππππ¨ππππ Grass fed vs grain fed beef It seems thereβs little difference in the nutrient profile of grass fed vs grain fed beef. (R) As for the toxicity profile, if you're eating 1 lb (400g) of grain-fed beef, you're getting less than half a gram of extra PUFA. Negligibleβ¦
