You probably need way more protein
This one was interesting ππΌ
Iβve increased my protein intake to 235 grams a day since dieting down from 90kg to around 80kg.
Which is around 2.9 grams of protons per kg of bw (bodyweight).
My macro intake has shifted from carb dominant to protein dominant:
Protein: 50%
Carbs: 35%
Fats: 15%
Higher carb (Peating) for a few years felt great and even necessary after destroying myself with a 3 year vegan diet followed by a carnivore/keto diet.
I think higher carb diets can help people that experience chronic stress, high cortisol/estrogen, low thyroid and are generally adrenal fatigued.
Once I fixed my thyroid and stress levels, a protein dominant diet feels great.
Especially since I workout 6-7 days a week.
A lot depends on what type of phase in your life you are in and what your goals are.
