🇸🇩 RSF drones strike El Gezira fuel depot near Wad Madani

Rapid Support Forces drones struck the Umm Alila fuel depot east of Wad Madani in El Gezira early on 27 September, triggering fires after several explosions were heard in Abu Haraz, about 20 kilometres northeast of the city. Civil Defence said it contained the blaze and prevented it from spreading to other tanks, with damage limited to petrol and diesel storage tanks at the facility, which distributes fuel across El Gezira.

The Sudanese Armed Forces said on Thursday that air defences shot down an FH-95 drone northeast of El Kokiti in North Kordofan, the second such drone it said it had downed that week. The RSF also said it shot down a Turkish-made Bayraktar drone over the Blue Nile region on Thursday.
