🇪🇹🇩🇯 Dangote to build $600m fuel pipeline between Ethiopia and Djibouti

Africa's richest man, Nigerian businessman Aliko Dangote, has signed an agreement with the governments of Ethiopia and Djibouti to build a $600m fuel pipeline linking the two countries. The 550km pipeline will transport diesel, petrol and jet fuel from the Port of Djibouti to central Ethiopia, with storage facilities planned along the route.

The project was announced during a visit by Dangote to Addis Ababa, where he met Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. Landlocked Ethiopia relies heavily on Djibouti's port for imports, including fuel supplies.
