🇲🇦 PAM party wins most seats in Morocco's parliamentary election

The Authenticity and Modernity Party, or PAM, won the largest number of seats in Morocco's legislative election on Wednesday, according to official preliminary results. Interior Minister Abdelouafi Laftit said PAM secured 97 seats in the 395-member parliament, ahead of its outgoing government partners, the National Rally of Independents, or RNI, with 66 seats, and the Istiqlal Party with 65.

The result puts PAM in first place in a fragmented parliament, with RNI and Istiqlal also emerging as the other leading parties in the vote.
