🐓 A Chicken that Walks Backwards (1932)

Know who the little girl is? She's Flannery O'Connor, The great southern Gothic writer.

Throughout her life, O’Connor’s passion was raising chickens (and later Peafowl) and she kept several in the garden of her Savannah home.

She mentions the chicken in her book "Mystery and Manners". A backward walking chicken was so remarkable at the time that Pathé News sent a crew from New York to report on it. O'Connor was 6 when the video was recorded.
