Operations have come to a complete standstill at several Albert Heijn distribution centres in the Netherlands following a cybersecurity incident affecting the supermarket chain, raising concerns about possible shortages and empty shelves.

This follows a similar incident occurring in France. forcing supermarkets to throw out all of their refrigerated food.
