big loss. now i sit here and think why i initially opened this trade.
as u know i closed my PUMP spot position to optimize for headspace and mental clarity. long timeframe holdings are outside my MO and i think i should have structured this initial trade differently.

and maybe the aftermath of these events is still influencing my decision making today. upon further reflection i think i opened this perps trade because i deep down fear my thesis coming true without me and i fear i would beat myself up for having "fumbled" the position early on despite laying out the thesis. ofc i cannot trust this thought fully either because it occurred to me after a loss and not while the position was in the green. so it might just be rationalization. have to go go deeper to get to the root of this.

experimenting with a regret minimization framework here. the coin/meta kept coming up in thoughts and conversations. could not fully discard it but am also not really convinced of it either. for such cases i decided to buy a smaller position. position needs to be small (relative to the bankroll), so if it moons i got a piece and if it goes down then it will not hurt me as bad. idk if this is the right way to approach things. currently experimenting, will surely learn smth about myself in the process.
