Let’s talk about something we all wonder during a job hunt — but rarely say out loud: Where’s the salary info?!

You find a great Web3 role, check the tech stack and perks, and then:
“Compensation: competitive.”
No number. Again.

Remember when salary ranges were a given in job ads? Now, it’s become the norm to leave it out.
Why? And why are candidates expected to share their expectations first, while employers stay silent?
Frustrating, right?

Tomorrow, we’ll unpack this with our HR Director, Arina Drobysheva, in a post:
“Why Do Crypto Companies Rarely List Salaries in Job Posts?”

In the mean time please share how do you feel when a job post skips the salary?
🔥 – Just say it already!
😢 – I get it, but I’d prefer transparency
👀 – Doesn’t bother me, I’ll ask later

You are a Project Manager but don’t know how to Style your CV? We can fix that! 🚀

Today we are sharing a top-notch CV from one of our candidates, Igor Dedovets!
It’s been personally approved by our recruiting team ✅

But that’s not all — Igor also shared some advice for anyone currently on the job hunt:
1️⃣ Forget about your resume. Start with a cover letter — it’s your personal business card. Just check out Igor’s intro post in HH groups, and you’ll see the power of a great opener.
2️⃣ Solve problems, not just collect certificates. Employers want someone who gets things done — not someone who lists 14 diplomas.
3️⃣ Cut the fluff. Your resume should be all about real achievements and skills. Proud of something? Say it loud and clear!
4️⃣ Have fun and smile. Job search is stressful, yes. But Igor walked into each interview with the mindset: “This is going to be fun” — and it made all the difference.
5️⃣ Don’t lie. No fake job entries. Even with little experience, honesty + enthusiasm beats made-up stories every time.
6️⃣ Show yourself. Be visible. Be different. That’s how your resume ends up in the “wow” pile.

Take notes — or better yet, take action! And if you want expert help crafting your own standout CV, our team are here to help — check out our service and give your job search a boost 🚀

What’s the one piece of advice you wish someone had told you at the start of your job search?

Smart contracts: Oh great, more tech jargon. Or is it?
To work in Web3, understanding key technologies like smart contracts is essential. You don’t need to code them yourself, but knowing how they work gives you a strong advantage in navigating the space.

Here’s a look at one of the core innovations powering Web3:

Smart Contracts: The Backbone of Web3 Automation

Want to create transparent, secure, and automated agreements without third parties? That’s exactly what smart contracts do. These blockchain-based programs enforce rules and carry out actions automatically, removing the need for intermediaries.

What Are Smart Contracts? – Self-executing programs on the blockchain that run when certain conditions are met. No middlemen, no delays — just code enforcing the rules.

✅ How Do They Work?
1️⃣ Set Conditions: A contract is written with “if/when… then…” logic.
2️⃣ Deploy to Blockchain: It gets verified, tested, and launched on a decentralized network.
3️⃣ Execute Automatically: When the conditions are met, the contract carries out the actions instantly — like sending funds or confirming deliveries.

✅ Where Are They Used?
- DeFi: Powering loans, swaps, and yield farming.
- NFTs: Managing ownership and royalties.
- Real Estate: Handling property transfers and payments.
- Supply Chain: Verifying shipments and product authenticity.

❌ Challenges & Limitations
- Legal uncertainty and regulation gaps.
- Security risks from buggy or poorly written code.
- Scaling issues on busy blockchains.

Smart contracts are transforming how agreements work — not just in crypto, but across industries. Whether you work in marketing, ops, or product, understanding them is crucial if you're stepping into Web3. It’s about building systems that run on code, not trust.

Would you rely on a smart contract instead of a lawyer? 💬

Think agency recruiters are a waste of time? That myth is costing you your career

Ana Berlina, our Talent Acquisition Specialist at BeInCrypto, has seen both sides of the hiring table — as an Agency recruiter and now In-house. And she's here to bust a few myths that might be holding you back from your next opportunity.

Let’s clear the air:
🟣 Myth 1: “Agencies are just middlemen — they don’t offer anything good”
➡️ Not true. Agencies often work with cool companies and roles that never go public. Some businesses only hire through trusted partners — which means you could miss out on amazing roles if you ignore recruiters.

🟣 Myth 2: “The recruiter will take part of my salary”
➡️ Nope. Agencies are paid by the company, not from your paycheck. You don’t lose a single cent.

🟣 Myth 3: “Agency recruiters don’t know much about the job — no point in preparing for the call”
➡️ Good recruiters talk directly with hiring managers. They know the tech, the vibe, and what kind of candidate will thrive. So yes — show up and come prepared. First impressions count.

But what’s in it for you?

✅ 1 recruiter = access to multiple roles
They usually handle 5–10 jobs at once. If one doesn’t fit, another might. More options, less time wasted.
✅ Private job lists
Some openings are only shared with agencies. You won’t find them on job boards — but your recruiter might already have your name on the list.

And what about in-house recruiters like Ana herself?

In-house = deep insights & real-time access
They sit inside the company, know the team, the culture, and what’s really going on.
✅ Can influence the process
✅ Give you clarity on what the team needs
✅ Share more about the role and company vision

Bottom line? A recruiter isn’t just a gatekeeper. They can be your advocate — if you know how to work with them!
