Some updated information:

•What are we accepting for auction items? Art, crafts, handmade goods, stickers, T-shirts, books etc. If you have a small business or hobby craft your goods will be perfect.

•If you are within the US you will be shipping your donation(s) to me. Include product description, sale price and where to direct people to (shop link, channel.) I will handle product photography and shipping.

•If you are outside of the US you will be shipping yourself. I will send you the information and shipping costs once your item is finished in the auction. You will need to send me your product photography, description, sale price and what shop or channel link to use.

•Shortly there will be a separate fundraising link on behalf of the family for direct donations. Also accepted are direct donations now via cash app, paypal and venmo. Get in touch with us to do so.

The Artisanal Auction will be opening up again soon.

The goal this time is to raise funds for a trusted artist and member of our community who has lost her home and belongings to a wildfire.

For her family’s privacy and safety we are keeping her identity anonymous. I’m sure you can understand why.

The theme is Awakening. To rouse from a state of slumber into renewed awareness. To leave the cave of shadows for a new perception of reality. To capture the feeling of personal, spiritual or cultural rebirth, igniting the fire that leads to an ancestral awakening of our people.

3. Instrumentals are welcome, though songs with vocals are more likely to win

The way in which we weave stories into our songs reflects the essence of our ancestral spirit.

I commented on the post above and would like to share some thoughts on that here.

"What makes music White?" is a complex question to articulate a short answer for.

I feel like art in general is an expression of the time it was created in. There is also an expression of the soul of the individual and the unique perspective of that person, as well as the ancestral folk soul of the people that individual belongs to.

Music has played a big role in the living tradition of a people through orating the stories over generations. The songs evolved with the people. I think there will always be the imprint of blood and ancestral memory in the art we create.

White people have a talent for creating beautiful melodies, and complex patterns in music that start and end in a way that feels whole or complete.

Rap is definitely more primitive in its structure and while that could largely be due to lower IQ, I think it's deeper than that. It's also a reflection of their ancestral journey and spiritual development as a people just as ours is for us.

What makes music White?

Most people know what genres appeal to Whites and what genres don’t, but it’s one of those things you feel, yet can’t explain. At least as someone who has never studied music I can’t put it into words. Of course, a leftist would argue that it’s just culture and Blacks would absolutely love Beethoven if they grew up listening to his works instead of rap, but we know that there are inherent differences between people and musical taste is one of them. Ultimately the question is still open for me. If you are a musician or just think you have a good answer leave it in the comments.
