⚡️🇵🇰 — No. 10 MRTT Squadron Power Beyond Reach
— On 19 December 2009, the Pakistan Air Force marked a decisive leap in air power with the raising of No. 10 Multi Role Tanker Transport Squadron, introducing PAF’s first ever Air-to-Air Refuelling capability. With the induction of the IL-78 at PAF Base Nur Khan, the Squadron transformed operational reach, endurance and combat flexibility. What began as a pioneering effort quickly matured into a battle-ready force, achieving independent dry and wet AAR operations by 2016, successful refuelling of Mirage and JF-17 aircraft, and Pakistan’s first AAR mission with a foreign air force during a joint exercise. From demanding night operations during Exercise High Mark 2016 to enabling PAF’s global presence at RIAT 2025, No. 10 Squadron stands today as a true force multiplier powering PAF fighters farther, longer and stronger in defence of the nation.

— On 7th June 2002, a PAF F-16 piloted by S/L Zulfiqar Aub shot down an Israeli origin Searcher-2 UAV (Unmanned Ariel Vehicle) of the Indian Air Force over Raiwind at 13,000 feet.
— This encounter also happened to be the first ever UAV/Drone shot down at night by an aircraft.

IMP militants claimed they had captured donkeys as “war booty,” claiming that the donkeys were government-owned and used by the army throughout the year to build and repair posts in South Waziristan’s Wana Azam Warsak area.
They further claimed that the donkeys would be “happier with us,” claiming to release them into a nearby garden where they would freely eat corn. The militants also issued a warning to other donkeys, urging them not to assist the army in constructing posts or carrying rations.
Even the cameraman can be heard saying “start” before the militant begins his speech.
