⚡️🇵🇰 — No. 10 MRTT Squadron Power Beyond Reach
— On 19 December 2009, the Pakistan Air Force marked a decisive leap in air power with the raising of No. 10 Multi Role Tanker Transport Squadron, introducing PAF’s first ever Air-to-Air Refuelling capability. With the induction of the IL-78 at PAF Base Nur Khan, the Squadron transformed operational reach, endurance and combat flexibility. What began as a pioneering effort quickly matured into a battle-ready force, achieving independent dry and wet AAR operations by 2016, successful refuelling of Mirage and JF-17 aircraft, and Pakistan’s first AAR mission with a foreign air force during a joint exercise. From demanding night operations during Exercise High Mark 2016 to enabling PAF’s global presence at RIAT 2025, No. 10 Squadron stands today as a true force multiplier powering PAF fighters farther, longer and stronger in defence of the nation.
