In these Americanist ideals, which are fundamentally flawed, people are taught to pursue material wealth, personal comfort, and social status instead of focusing on building strong families, fostering tightknit communities, and cultivating a sense of duty toward something greater than themselves. It also perpetuates the misconception that because something is American, it must automatically be just or worth defending.

Loving one's country shouldn’t mean ignoring its weaknesses, or ongoing flaws. A truly strong nation should be able to acknowledge its mistakes, protect what is worth preserving, and continuously strive for improvement. Furthermore, these Americanists often romanticize a group of individuals that has set nails at the doorstop outside the house of the White Man. This country has betrayed us before we knew it or could fight back. Strive to be better, join the NWTI, and contribute to something greater than yourself.
