⚠️ Fake Botox sent a client to the hospital in NYC

An Upper East Side spa owner pleaded guilty to smuggling mislabeled “Botox” from Korea and injecting it into clients. One of them was hospitalized with botulism.

The owner isn’t a doctor—she’s an esthetician who imported illegal drugs without a prescription or medical supervision.

New York has rules about who gets to inject prescription botulinum toxin. “Runs a nice spa” wasn’t on the list.
