Further Away and More Expensive

The U.S. has withdrawn all its B-1 bombers from the British base RAF Fairford—the only base in the United Kingdom that the U.S. uses to launch strikes against Iran. The reason is a new threat linked to an Iranian plot.

Now the flight to the Middle East is much longer. Cool. But what are these planes going to fly on? Helium, I hope? I’m not giving up my can of diesel fuel.
