India's EAM, Dr S. Jaishankar, began a five-day visit to Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, and Ethiopia on Tuesday, Oct 6, 2026.

Scheduled for 6–10 October 2026, the tour aims to strengthen bilateral partnerships in trade, investment, infrastructure, and capacity building.

The MEA stated the visit reflects India's commitment to deepening ties with Africa and the Global South.
