According to local sources, resistance fighters attacked a Taliban security post in Kamdesh District of Nuristan and reportedly took control of the post. Five Taliban personnel were reportedly killed in the clash.

A flash flood triggered by heavy rainfall swept away two shelters at the 5th Grenadiers’ Pasu Pani Army Camp in Dibang Valley on Friday evening. Seven Army personnel were swept away; two were rescued, while five remained missing. The Indian Army has now confirmed that three Agniveers who went missing during the August 14 floods have been declared dead, with their identities confirmed through DNA testing.

Several men have reportedly been arrested under the Explosives Act near RAF Fairford, a U.S.-used airbase in Gloucestershire. Homes in nearby Whelford were evacuated while Army bomb-disposal teams examined several vehicles.

Police said the incident is contained, while the connection to the airbase remains unclear.

Unprovoked firing from Afghan Taliban (TTA) positions along the Pak-Afghan border was reportedly met with an effective response from Pakistani security forces. Last night, Pakistani forces directly targeted an Afghan Taliban military post with artillery and drone strikes, reportedly resulting in the complete destruction of the post.

Pakistani security forces remain fully vigilant against any further cross-border aggression.

SHO Malagori Riaz Hussain Afridi, who was injured in an exchange of fire between police and alleged smugglers of non-custom-paid vehicles in Sher Barj area this morning, has succumbed to his injuries and was martyred in hospital.

Police reportedly arrested two alleged smugglers during the operation and seized two non-custom-paid vehicles.

In the exchange of fire, two Khawarij were reportedly killed. One was identified as kharji Manzoor alias Manzoori, reportedly the son of Izzat Khan and a resident of Abdul Khel. He was reportedly considered a close associate of Ts kharji commander Junaid.

According to claims circulating after the incident, material allegedly involving the sexual abuse of minors was recovered from his mobile phone. The allegations further claim that Ts Kharji commanders exploit and abuse children under the guise of jihad and record such abuse.
