According to highly credible intelligence sources, a secret meeting was held in Kandahar between BLA chief Bashir Zeb, Khariji Gul Bahadur, and a commander of Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS).
During the meeting, they agreed to carry out joint attacks in the Pashtun belt of Balochistan.
Under the deal, Gul Bahadur and AQIS will provide manpower and weapons, while BLA operatives will receive training at AQIS Farooq camps.
Meanwhile, Indian intelligence agency RAW's direct dealing with these groups has reportedly caused concern within Afghan Intelligence (GDI), which has asked RAW's Kabul station chief to route all matters through GDI to protect its financial interests.
