FRANCE FACES RECORD €340 BILLION BORROWING WAVE

France plans to issue €340 billion of medium- and long-term debt in 2027, as its total borrowing requirement reaches €339.7 billion.

A record €189.2 billion of debt redemptions will add to refinancing pressure.

The AFT sees 3-month bills at 3% and the 10-year benchmark at 4.3%, highlighting the increasingly expensive backdrop for French public finances.
