OPENAI SEEKS $30 BILLION AT $1.4 TRILLION VALUATION

OpenAI is targeting at least $30 billion in new funding at a roughly $1.4 trillion valuation, Bloomberg reports, after postponing its IPO plans.

The financing would serve as a bridge round, following OpenAI’s $122 billion raise in March at an $852 billion valuation.

The fundraising comes as OpenAI’s revenue run rate has topped $40 billion, while competition with Anthropic intensifies.
