Declassified documents and testimony recently highlighted by Dr. Robert Malone reveal a chilling history of bioweaponization on U.S. soil. Between 1966 and 1969, the U.S. military released 282,800 radioactive lone star ticks (labeled with Carbon-14) across Virginia sites along bird migration routes. Before these experiments, these ticks were never found north of the Mason-Dixon Line; shortly after, they established permanent populations on Long Island for the first time. This wasn’t an isolated incident. Under Project 112, the Pentagon invested up to $4 billion to build the capacity to produce 100 million infected mosquitoes and 50 million fleas per month—a program the military “categorically denied” for nearly 50 years until the year 2000.
The proximity of these tests to human outbreaks is staggering. The Plum Island Animal Disease Center, run by the Army Chemical Corps, conducted open-air tick experiments just 13 miles from Lyme, Connecticut. Records show test animals mingled with wild deer and birds, and deer from Lyme were known to swim to the island, creating a direct vector for lab-enhanced pathogens. This explains why multiple diseases like Lyme arthritis, babesiosis, and Rocky Mountain spotted fever erupted simultaneously around Long Island Sound between 1968 and 1972. Even more disturbing is the legacy of Willy Burgdorfer, the man who “discovered” the Lyme bacterium. Materials found in his garage after his 2014 death proved he suppressed data on a second pathogen, the “Swiss Agent,” for over 40 years—a co-infection that likely explains why standard chronic Lyme treatments fail today.
From Operation Big Itch—which proved cluster bombs could drop 670,000 fleas to incapacitate entire battalions—to Operation Mongoose, where infected ticks were dropped on Cuban sugarcane workers, the “unthinkable” is now a matter of public record. Before his death, Burgdorfer himself left a cryptic note: “I wondered why somebody didn’t do something,” and admitted in video testimony that he “didn’t tell you everything.”
