Ellen DeGeneres has reportedly been diagnosed with kuru — the rare and horrific prion disease linked to cannibalism — and doctors say she is going blind.
She has reportedly gone into hiding and is displaying increasingly erratic behavior.
Kuru, historically known as the “laughing sickness,” slowly destroys the brain and was passed through ritual cannibalism. Victims lose control of their body and mind before the end.
