James Bond producer Amy Pascal has stated in interviews the next 007 actor will offer a “really different” take on the character compared to the usual interpretations of Bond.
A "predatory" 'refugee' who sexually assaulted two women has been sentenced to four years in jail.
Syrian Muhammad Sheikhi, 23, targeted his victims in Falkirk during the early hours of 30 November 2025.
Sheikhi had been staying at the Scottish town's Hotel Cladhan at the time of his attacks.
Protests erupted at the time and authorities accused members of the public of spreading 'misinformation'.
He preyed on the first woman at a railway bridge on Kerse Lane, where he hugged her, repeatedly kissed her on the face and mouth, and put his hands under her skirt.
Sheikhi then sexually assaulted a second woman in Kerse Lane and the nearby Bellsmeadow skate park, where he pinned her against a tree before putting his hands under her clothing.
The women, who were in their early 20s, had both been walking home alone after nights out in the town centre.
Former Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar has stood by his previous calls for the House of Lords to be abolished, despite being granted a peerage so he can become a minister in Andy Burnham's government.
In 2022 Sarwar called for the Lords to be scrapped and replaced with a democratically elected chamber, external.
But, despite stepping down last month to become Minister of State for Trade, he said:
"I have always said that there should be a senate of the nations and regions. I still have that view."
"I had experienced a lot of anti-Semitism. I liked being with other Jews, and I'd go to Jewish summer camp. I never was super religious, but I understood the importance of Israel and of Jews needing a homeland because of persecution. So I'm very pro-Israel on the air."
This may be from a pro-Tory poll but this is the direction of travel we started talking about in April.
What will happen even more now is people will flock back to The Tories in order to beat Labour and Greens will go back to Labour in order to beat The Tories!
The 'safeguarding' of the two party system has begun.
