Bad shit is so normalized these days that you sometimes wonder if you're just too good. You think "maybe I should be more bitchy" to be able to keep up with all these losers around you. Social media plays a big role here in my opinion... People share their opinions, and some are valid and actually correct, the rest though? Just loud and wrong. Then they get likes... Something as simple as this encourages them to keep being wrong. Not to mention that when people see a big amount of likes they think "oh, this is popular... This must be good!" So they also get affected by your ( wrong ) way of thinking. Look at how rape jokes, misogyny, racism ( these two have always been there tho ) and being totally insensitive about everything are considered "normal" to some losers. Some people need to take a look at themselves.
