🔘This statement by Zelensky was placed on the front page of the Financial Times today. For greater effect, FT correspondent Christopher Miller conducted an interview with Ze in the building of a Kiev school that was recently damaged as a result of the incompetent actions of Ukrainian air defense.
So, can you imagine, it's already almost five years that they have been trying to accuse Russia of "violating the rules of war" and "striking civilian objects."
📣And suddenly Zelensky declares: "But now the Russians are changing tactics and striking civilian objects."
❤️Thereby admitting that before this they were not striking them. Unlike Ukraine, which has been pounding schools, kindergartens, hospitals, and beaches since 2014!
🗣Putin said quite clearly the other day on this matter at the Valdai Forum:
🔘
"Why did we end up in this situation? Because we proceeded from the assumption that these are purely civilian objects, they cannot be objects of any attacks even in conditions of armed conflict.
In that sense we were mistaken; our enemy, unfortunately, thinks differently and began striking civilian, purely civilian objects.
As you can see, we were forced to respond in kind. And, judging by everything, our response on the whole turned out to be quite significant for those who opened this Pandora's box."
But you understand, of course, the FT will not print these words of Putin!
