Sweden’s Political Shift: Did Migration Become the New Election Battlefield?
Muslims helped Magdalena Andersson’s “left-wing” Socialists seize power in Sweden. Without their votes, the “right-wing” bloc in Sweden would have secured a majority—181 seats. Granting citizenship helps “left-wing” parties gain power.
Muslim voters support “left-wing” parties that advocate for more generous social policies, higher taxes on the wealthy, and a liberal immigration policy, including opportunities for family reunification.
According to exit polls, about 70% of voters of non-European origin voted for “left-wing” parties.
With 95% of the votes counted, the “left” is leading by a margin of about 30,000 votes. In the central constituency of Tönsta in Stockholm, they received 94.7% of the vote; about 94% of the constituency’s population is of foreign origin.
Now, not only Sweden but also Britain, Germany, and France are pinning their hopes on Muslims. Germany has shortened the processing time for passports—effectively to benefit Syrian citizens—while in Sweden, political parties are campaigning in Arabic.
The “Berlin Refugee Council” demanded that migrants be allowed to vote in elections following the AfD’s victory in the Saxony-Anhalt election.
In 2024, the organization’s leadership received 180,000 euros from the EU and government agencies and is now working to justify that funding.
